Above the Call Recognizes Justin Clemons

Above the Call is a new event with Rich Broadcasting to thank law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics and others for their service.

Above the Call will take place every Wednesday and we will be honoring someone in service to thank them for all they do. You can nominate someone, if they win, they will receive a plaque with their name on it. We are excited for the opportunity to thank those that make sacrifices everyday for us.

Our most recent winner is firefighter Justin Clemons,

The person who nominated Justin said this about him;

I have been Justin’s partner on the ambulance for 6 months now. We work in extremely close quarters, in high stress, high anxiety situations everyday. Justin performs his job very well everyday in all aspects. He is empathetic with all his patients, takes time to explain patient conditions, treatments and evaluation methods. He is a top tier paramedic.

On top of that, he also volunteers time to write policies and procedures for other local and state agencies and puts the Pocatello Fire Dept. in a positive light to many other agencies and communities.

In his personal life, he has 5 biological children and 5 special needs children he and his wife have adopted and made their own and continue to help other special needs children in the community. Justin is also currently helping his wife recover from donating a kidney to an ailing family member aside from caring for his large family, performing his duties at Pocatello Fire and assisting with medical needs for BCSD and Pocatello Police special and swat teams.

All of this he does with a smile and completely selfless attitude. Above all this he continues to check on and care for patients he has helped, offers help to others in need and expects nothing in return.

To top it off, he’s just a genuinely nice guy and deserves a pat on the back for all he does.

Thanks for your consideration.

Above the Call is made possible with gratitude and appreciation from Rich Broadcasting, Pocatello Nissan Kia and KPVI 6.
